AIR TORN
Air Torn is a multifaceted DJ and producer with a bold sonic identity. From Electro groove to Tech House vibrations, from underground Techno to the explosive energy of Drum & Bass, each set explores a different universe with constant intensity.
She began behind the decks in the early 2000s and quickly gained recognition, notably landing a live performance on BBC Radio in Cardiff. A pioneering artist, she became the first female DJ to perform in Qatar, where she was invited to play on several occasions.
Founder of the Criminal Beat Cartel label, which she ran for eight years, she made a lasting impression with her track Sexstoy, featured on the soundtrack of the film Laurentie, which was pre-selected for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
Her work also attracted attention from ELLE magazine in 2013.
In 2016, she released the track Make It on the Mexican label DropLow Records, before performing across international stages.
She has played at the legendary KaZantip festival in Ukraine, as well as at the foot of the Eiffel Tower for the launch of Inès de la Fressange’s perfume.
She also remixed a track by French rap artist Menace Santana, turning the original hip-hop version into an ultra-energetic Drum & Bass banger.
Her EP Higher, released in March 2025, entered the Top 10 of Beatport’s electronic releases chart.
Now a resident DJ at Vault in Mulhouse, she continues to explore the many facets of electronic music with a strong focus on the dancefloor.
